Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival at the Beijing International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy free time in Beijing to rest or explore the city on your own. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 2: Beijing
After breakfast, meet your guide at your hotel and embark on a full day city tour. Stop to explore historical Tiananmen Square and wander through the halls and palaces of the Forbidden City. Visit the city’s most scenic park - the Summer Palace, and drive by the Olympic Stadium in the afternoon. Overnight in Beijing. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 3: Beijing
In the morning drive 1.5 hours to the north suburb to see the ancient Ming Tombs, built for 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644 AD). Spend your afternoon climbing the Mutianyu Great Wall and take in this spectacular landmark before returning to Beijing. Overnight in Beijing. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4: Beijing
After breakfast, explore the narrow alleys of Beijing’s hidden Hutong neighborhoods by rickshaw. Witness a different way of life as you pass by ancient local homes. Drive by the old Bell Tower and Prince Gong’s Palace. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, an architectural masterpiece, and continue on to visit the Lama Temple, one of the most influential temples of its kind outside of Tibet. Spend your evening relaxing over a Beijing duck dinner. Overnight in Beijing. (Breakfast, Lunch, Special Dinner)
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home. (Breakfast)

- Download, print, and fill out the Reservation Form for each person.

- Pay a non-refundable $500 per person deposit and we will initiate your reservations.
- Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure.
If your reservation is made less than 75 days prior to departure, the non-refundable deposit will allow us to initiate reservations. Full payment will be due immediately upon confirmation of all hotels and transportation services. If the services quoted cannot be confirmed, alternate accommodation or transportation will be arranged and the price will be adjusted accordingly.
Payments can be made by personal check, bank wire transfer, or credit card. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will initiate your reservations and send you a statement showing your payment. Approximately 4 weeks prior to your departure, we will send you a final confirmation package containing your itinerary and detailed information on the logistics of your trip.

Cancellation/Refund Policies
- Cancel more than 60 days prior to departure - forfeit your deposit.
- Cancel between 30 and 60 days prior to departure - forfeit 50% of the tour cost.
- Cancel less than 30 days prior to departure - NO REFUND of tour cost.
- Cancellations must be made in writing and sent via mail, fax, or email to Red Lantern Journeys.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of your written request.
- No refunds are available for unused services or tours during your trip.
