Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive New Delhi
Arrive in New Delhi where you’ll be welcomed by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel for check in. Overnight in New Delhi.
Day 2: New Delhi
Your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel and take you on a tour of the best sites of Delhi. Start in the southern end of the city with a visit to the Qutab Minar - the tallest stone tower in India, and Humayun’s Tomb - a grand example of Indo-Persian style similar to the Taj Mahal. After lunch, walk through the bustling Chandi Chowk shopping area in Old Delhi, then visit the adjacent Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest in India. Continue on to the serene park setting of Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Then visit the Laxmi Narayan Hindu Temple and end your tour at Connaught Place, the shopping and commercial district at the heart of New Delhi, where you will get a brief introduction before returning to your hotel. Overnight in New Delhi. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Delhi to Agra
Your driver and guide will take you to the train station and assist you to your seat on the train to Agra. Enjoy the 2.5-hour ride from Delhi to Agra. Upon arrival you will be met at the train platform by your local guide for a tour of Agra including the formidable Agra Fort, the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, and the Jami Masjid, “Friday Mosque” with the bustling Kinari market at its entrance. Travel from Agra Fort to the Taj Mahal by horse-drawn cart in the afternoon. You're welcome to stay until sunset for amazing photographs of the Taj Mahal, which was built in the middle of the 17th century by the Moghul emperor Shah Jehan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Overnight in Agra. (Breakfast)
Day 4: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri
On the road to Jaipur visit the ancient abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri. This city was built and then abandoned shortly after due to a scarcity of water. Explore the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other palaces which are still well-preserved. After a couple of hours at Fatehpur Sikri, continue the drive to Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Late afternoon, experience a cycle rickshaw ride through the bazaars of the old city. Overnight in Jaipur. (Breakfast)
Day 5: Jaipur
Tour the impressive Amber Fort, situated outside Jaipur City in the Aravali Mountains. Amber Fort has the famous Shish Mahal, or palace of mirrors. After returning to Jaipur late morming, visit the main sites including the "Palace of the Winds", the open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the City Palace and Museum. The palace is still the home of the Maharaja and the museum has an interesting textile section, which contains dresses and costumes of the former Maharajas and Maharanis of Jaipur. Your evening is free to explore the alleyways of the markets of Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur. (Breakfast)
Day 6: Jaipur to New Delhi
Return to New Delhi by car. It's about a 4 to 5 hour drive to New Delhi and you can consult with your driver on the best time to depart. Your car and driver are at your service in Jaipur and New Delhi for last minute shopping or other activities. End the tour with a farewell dinner with folk dancing until you need to be at the New Delhi airport for your onward flight. If you have a late night flight, we can arrange a hotel room for the evening to wash up and rest prior to your flight at an additional cost. (Breakfast, Dinner)

- Pay a non-refundable $500 per person deposit and we will initiate your reservations.
- Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure.
If your reservation is made less than 75 days prior to departure, the non-refundable deposit will allow us to initiate reservations. Full payment will be due immediately upon confirmation of all hotels and transportation services. If the services quoted cannot be confirmed, alternate accommodation or transportation will be arranged and the price will be adjusted accordingly.
Payments can be made by personal check, bank wire transfer, or credit card. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will initiate your reservations and send you a statement showing your payment. Approximately 4 weeks prior to your departure, we will send you a final confirmation package containing your itinerary and detailed information on the logistics of your trip.

Cancellation/Refund Policies
- Cancel more than 60 days prior to departure - forfeit your deposit.
- Cancel between 30 and 60 days prior to departure - forfeit 50% of the tour cost.
- Cancel less than 30 days prior to departure - NO REFUND of tour cost.
- Cancellations must be made in writing and sent via mail, fax, or email to Red Lantern Journeys.
- Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of your written request.
- No refunds are available for unused services or tours during your trip.
