Kathmandu City Stay - 5 days/4 nights

Changu Narayan Temple (dates back to the 3rd century)

Kathmandu

W. Kirkpatrick, emissary of the British Governor General, wrote in 1811 “There are nearly as many temples as houses, and as many idols as inhabitants.” Indeed, to visit all the famous shrines and temples in Kathmandu, the valley of the gods, is a major undertaking: there are more of them per square kilometer than anywhere else in the world.

Visit all major temples, palaces and stupas in the Kathmandu valley. There are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Kathmandu valley and this trip has you visiting all of them. The best months to undertake this trip are September through May.

Not a group tour! This privately-guided tour can be customized to meet your needs in terms of departure dates, destinations, and length of stays. Contact us for more information and price quotes.
